To guarantee complete protection for powered winches, Antal offers the WBC, which keeps the winch from reaching its maximum working load. The winch is generally activated in the fastest gear. When maximum absorption is reached, this gear is deactivated by the WBC and the slow gear must be used. This reduces the winch stress until maximum absorption (max load) is reached and the WBC also deactivates this slow gear. Another safety device is the breaker that protects the motor from overheating due to too intensive use. However, it does not protect the winch from sudden excessive loads. Therefore, both are necessary for complete protection.
The WBC is suitable for two-speed Antal winches, with motors up to 2000 W and maximum absorption of 250 amps.
