Gennaker cables
Gennaker torsional cables have a larger diameter, relative to the same length, compared to bottom up furling cables, to handle the additional torsion loads involved with top down furling. This is because the torsion has to be transmitted along the full length of the cable, from the drum to the head of the sail, where the furl starts.
