Antal's XXL range, also called the composite fibre series, is based on the use of composite fibre bearings and double self-captive Delrin ball thrust bearings. The cheeks are comprised of 3571 TA16 aluminium alloy, designed to reduce and optimise weight, whilst not compromising on strength. This range use thickly anodized aluminium sheaves. The main bearing is made of high-strength composite fibre impregnated with self-lubricating substances. A double lateral Delrin ball bearing makes the sheaves slide perfectly smoothly. Sheaves are supplied with the stainless steel central hub, they are available separately.
