Flossing lines and weed sticks have been common place on offshore boats for years. While these are typically 'home made' solutions, FourthCape have developed an off the shelf product to work with a range of boats. 

The WeedWand is a premium, light weight solution for weed removal on twin rudder yachts. The standard size has been tested on the following boats but will work on any vessel of a similar size with rudders in a similar position:

• Sunfast 3200, 3300, 3600

• JPK1010, 1030, 1080

• Figaro 2, Figaro 3
  

A stiff carbon handle with a stainless steel hook covered in a soft rope jacket. Simply hook onto the top, leading edge of the rudder and slide down to the tip, pushing any debris off the bottom of the foil without causing damage to the rudder blade. An elastic cord with a hook allows the WeedWand to be secured along the aft railing.

The WeedWand is supplied in 2 parts, disassembled for shipping. The hook is easily fitted to the pole according to the instructions provided.
