The KJC15W is the carbon-wood version of our legendary KJ 3-jaw high load Jammer. A thin layer of natural wood is added over the carbon KJC version for yachts looking for a classic aesthetic. Even though the aluminium version remains available, the KJC base product becomes the new standard.
The secret of KJ Jammers lies in 2 simple technical elements: a conical shape where the more you pull the more it gets stuck, and the use of 3 jaws to distribute the load over 360 ° so as to never flatten or damage your ropes. The Jammer is made in x2 easily dismountable parts which makes it possible to extract the cone very quickly without having to disassemble its glued (or bolted) support. The result: an innovative and efficient rope clutch that does not let go and that does not damage your ropes. It can also be remote operated.
