Ronstan's range of continuous line furling systems puts great performance and reliability within the reach of cruising and racing sailors alike. A thimble is used to terminate the torsional rope at each end by wrapping it around the thimble and then either stitching it to itself, or splicing it. The thimble also has an additional hole for lashing the tack or head of the sail. Lashing the sail to the thimble and not to the furler allows the torsional rope and sail to be easily removed from the furler and top swivel as required. The Ronstan Series 200 thimble is made from AL6061 anodised aluminium and is designed to perfectly interface the jaws of the Ronstan Series 200 drum and swivel. Remember to buy two - one for each end of the cable!
