Impact protection

Impact protection covers are used to protect your swivels and furling drums from damage and from causing damage to the boat or mast. This is an inexpensive Item that everyone should have for their furling swivels. They prevent impact damage both to the swivel and the mast and rigging during hoisting/lowering of the code zero or Asymmetric spinnaker. Usually a neoprene sleave which is quick and simple to slide over the swivel. Not all manufacturers have impact protection available and they are not standard by any means (check product descriptions). However, they are inexpensive and relatively generic sizes which can be used on most swivels (check swivel drawings to compare dimensions).
