This version incorporates a carbon casing on the drum, providing enhanced strength and reduced weight for optimal performance in high-stress environments. Combined with the carbon/Kevlar® continuous line wheel, the furler ensures smooth operation and robust durability, even under significant loads or frequent use.
Designed for racing, the KFR4.5 includes a 3:1 friction sheave as standard, replacing the K-Snap to accommodate tack line setups. This configuration offers precise control and flexibility, making it ideal for managing advanced sail configurations like Code Zeros and asymmetric spinnakers.
The KFR4.5 V3 also retains the core engineering features of the KF V3 range, such as the reinforced ABS casing with K-Krok impact resistance technology, a remote locking mechanism for the drum to allow precise and controlled furling, and a K-Krok protected swivel for added durability and consistent performance during demanding manoeuvres.
