The Karver KFR8.0 V3 Furler Set (Racing Version) is engineered for racing yachts between 58 and 70 feet, providing unmatched performance and control for high-load, competitive sailing. Building on the foundation of the Karver KF8.0 Standard Version, this racing model incorporates advanced materials and design features to manage the demands of larger sails and higher stress conditions.
This furler features a carbon casing on the drum, offering a lightweight yet exceptionally strong structure optimised for competitive sailing. The carbon/Kevlar® continuous line wheel adds further durability and ensures smooth, reliable furling even under the most demanding loads.
To meet the needs of racers, the KFR8.0 is fitted with a 3:1 friction sheave as standard, replacing the K-Snap. This configuration is tailored for tack line management, providing enhanced control and flexibility when handling large, high-performance sails such as Code Zeros and asymmetric spinnakers.
The KFR8.0 V3 retains the core features of the KF V3 range, including a reinforced ABS casing with K-Krok impact resistance technology, a remote locking mechanism for the drum for precise furling, and a K-Krok protected swivel for consistent durability and performance in high-stress racing scenarios.
