This AIS Transponder is a valuable addition to onboard safety. In addition to providing information about vessels within a certain range via your chartplotter and NMEA connections, it also transmits your information to other vessels. The transponder can also be connected to a PC or Mac's USB port. The transponder is supplied with a 2m power and data cable and a USB cable. Connection to a suitable VHF antenna is required and by using an AIS/VHF antenna splitter (90-60-515S) one VHF antenna can be used for both VHF and AIS devices with minimal loss of signal. If required, an external GPS antenna can be connected (90-60-518, not supplied). Operating temperature: -25°C to 55°C
