Brand new for 2019, the KF0.9 is Karver’s smallest furler ever. Securing a unique position in the market, the Karver KF0.9 is the result of years of research and development, culminating in a compact furler that is just as efficient as its big brothers. Lightweight and durable, the KF0.9 is manufactured in anodized aluminium, and features a lashing eye on the swivel, as well as an innovative 2-in-1 fitting under the drum (with a snap shackle and 2:1 friction sheave). The Karver KF0.9 furler set includes the bottom-up drum and the swivel. The furler set does not include the Karver locking system on the drum nor protection of the swivel. Looking for further advice? Here are some additional tips from Karver: - Make sure to use a quality anti-torsion rope. This is often overlooked on smaller sails. - If you do not want to tie a knot on the swivel lashing eye, you can use a textile shackle. - If the frame you wish to attach the snap shackle is too big, you can add a small & short Dyneema® loop. - Caution! The KF1 thimble do not fit the KF0.9 fork.
